I Live In a “Constitution-Free” Zone?

Imagine my surprise to run across this piece informing me that I haven’t the protections of our beloved Constitution here in New Orleans. (NOT) We’ve been getting royally fucked since the Federal Flood and the “thrusting” still continues to this very day.

Here’s the map of the areas affected-

Notice that most of these areas marked are Liberal/Progressive strongholds? That the Fourth Amendment doesn’t apply in these zones?  That your skirt can be lifted, your panties pulled down and they can run a camera up your tush, and you have no recourse under Law? It don’t matter if you have a legal ID, or a VA ID, and no priors, but you are still treated as if you did something wrong?

This isn’t the country I was brought up to love, respect and defend. This is not the nation I gave almost a decade to in Her defense. That catch phrase “Home of the Free and the Brave” only has meaning in that we have no Freedoms, but we are brave for living in these zones. What a crock of shit.

That’s why the ACLU is fighting against this program. This is why the ACLU exists. (and one of my ancestors helped found the organization, so there)

And now Lou Dobbs thinks that the ACLU is the monster for fighting for our Constitutional Rights, our Rights and Freedoms given to each and every one of us by virtue of being citizens of the U.S.?

Lou, you TV over-made up talking head- SHUT THE FUCK UP. You have no probs with this excess of governmental interference of ordinary peoples’ lives. You are a “newsman”, you fly anywhere you wish without having your body groped and your family history investigated back four generations. You will never know the degradation of being handled like a piece of meat in a packing plant, the embarassment of others seeing you as a “suspect”, the utter humiliation of realizing that you are a subject, not a citizen.

Maybe I’m being too tough on Mr. Dobbs and the mooks from the “Heartland”… I seceded from the U.S. after the Federal Flood of my homeland, and yes, I am no longer a member of your tribe. Maybe folks like me should be examined whenever we leave our homes. Since we believe in our Rights and Freedoms, fuckmooks like you have everything to fear. We, the real people of America are the demons to fear.

And I hope that people like me haunt your dreams Mr. Dobbs. You deserve it.

Mayor Nagin Suspends the NCDC

Here is my letter to the City Council concerning Mayor ( Corporate Capitalist) Nagin’s suspension of the demolition oversight of the Neighborhood Conservation District Committee-

As a co-founder of the Gentilly Civic Improvement Association and the Rising Tide, I am alarmed by Mayor Nagin’s suspension of the NCDC’s oversight over demolitions of homes/buildings.

Yes, there are many places that should be demolished due to unsafe conditions, but many can be saved as their owners are trying to put together the funds with which to finance the repairs. It would be a crying shame if perfectly good homes and buildings are destroyed just because the Mayor has made a “decision”.

You are OUR City Council. You are OUR representatives. You are OUR City’s protection against outrages such as that fomented by Mayor Nagin and his developer friends. As a city, it would be a major loss to have gaping holes within neighborhoods, especially when there seems to be no upkeep on the vacant lots.

New Orleans has a flavor, one that is totally unique in this country. The feel that a person has whilst walking the streets looking at a continuity of History is one of connection and pride of place. It shows how much we love our little place within the suburban sprawl that contaminates most of our country. It’s what makes New Orleans, “New Orleans”.

Please, please don’t let Mayor Nagin begin a wholesale demolition of the city without some form of oversight. My partner and I have invested heavily in rebuilding our home, but some of our neighbors are still struggling to get to where we are right now. They deserve the chance to pull it together, but Mayor Nagin’s decree concerning the suspension of the NCDC takes that chance away.

Mayor Nagin has chosen the wrong path to the restoration of New Orleans. It is up to all of you to keep this City on the right path as we rebuild our wonderful home. Otherwise, we the people of New Orleans may just have to take matters into our own hands to stop this outrageous infingement of our independent rights as homeowners.

Another Home Demolished… For No Reason

City mistakenly demolishes couple’s newly bought home

This is my take as written on NOLA.com’s comment section-

“Sanitation Director Veronica White, whose department oversees city-authorized teardowns, said in an e-mail that demolition program managers are supposed to forward stop-demolition orders to contractors assigned to bulldoze houses.

“I will have to further investigate where the disconnect took place before I can comment” on the Kendall Drive house, White said.”

Ms White (or whatever else you can be called that fits Reality on this matter), your department is a totally unorganized, lazy mess. The fact that you believe a 72 hour notice before notifying the demolition crew that the house was under appeal, removed from said list or sold is a crock Darlin’.

Do your J.O.B. and make those fools you hired actually do their jobs instead of allowing them to talk to their friends all day, munch Doritos and not answer questions and provide immediate service. (That’s right girl, you and yours are OUR servants, not the other way around.)

Query- How many City Hall employees does it take to screw in a light bulb? The answer is that you can take all of them and there still wouldn’t be a light bulb shining. (and the bulb would be laying on the ground.)

Example of the laziness of City Hall minions- We had our final inspection for Occupancy, and 6 working days later Entergy has not been informed that we are good to go for our electrical connection. We pulled the certification off the City’s website on the 13th, but that won’t work. We have to wait for a City worker to actually send the data forward. I can’t make moving plans due to these creatures’ incompetence.

Email is easy and quick, but only when the senders aren’t lazy shiftless fools just hangin’ around for a paycheck.

And to close, this is No-See-Um Ray’s (psuedo mayor’s) fault. It is also the shame of every fool that voted for him in two elections. Ya’s wanted a chocolate Mayor, and ya’s got him. He’s the most worthless piece of flesh (outside of Bush/Cheney) that could ever be found.

You get what you ask for. ‘Nuff said

So We Are Optimistic and Depressed At the Same Time

WaPo has an editorial concerning attitudes in Orleans parish reguarding rebuilding from the Federal Flood.

“The Kaiser Foundation notes that 74 percent of the people of New Orleans are optimistic about the future — a remarkable outlook for a city that has longed for safety and security since the levees broke on Aug. 29, 2005.”

I find myself cautiously optimistic, feeling forgotten, and fucking mad about the entire way this rebuilding has been handled, especially since it ain’t our fault. And to add insult to imjry, the carpetbaggers are screwing us.

I’m going to wind up in Orleans Parish Prison for going after this.

I have stated things about my mixed Bloodline before, so there is no Racist taint to what I’m getting ready to type. (I’m a Colored Intersexed person living as a woman for the newcomers here)

It is time to remove the Black fucks who are screwing up our city. I don’t fucking give a damn what Race someone is, I just want them to do their JOB and not screw with folks that have their own lives and thoughts. The City gov’mit seems to just do whatever they desire and screw the rest of us.

I didn’t sign on for this shit. I just want to live my life and there are fucking morons screwing up every thing about being able to live here.  We have the best house in the city and we are going to sink mega-bucks into a business here, and these shitheads are the ones that “run” this place? Just bend me over now.

To quote the late Ashley Morris: “Fuck You, You Fucking Fucks”.

There are many good folks in this city trying to rebuild, enhance and make it a place that people would want to live in. You fuckmooks are screwing all of our work up.

Look at Nagin’s fuck-buddys, the damn Jefferson family’s indictments. The shit that passes for “normality” that we the people don’t aspire to. This is our city, not yours. We live here and like it.

Here’s an editorial from the Times-Picayune concerning the spending of our “missing” Mayors staff.

A snippet from the piece, and then I fucking go off-

“Neither is his communication director, Ceeon Quiett, nor his director of intergovernmental affairs, Kenya Smith. Those two charged $81,268 of the more than $150,000 that the administration spent on travel, hotels and restaurants in a six-month period from September to February — more than the other 17 aides who use the account combined.

Mr. Smith said in a May 17 e-mail that documentation supporting his expenses would satisfy any criticism of his spending. A month later, there are still no documents. Mr. Smith responded to a reporter’s questions about the lack of paperwork with an empty assurance: “I’m sure our folks have provided you what there is and would be happy to accommodate you if you think there is more.”

He also said that the inquiry “is feeling a lot like intimidation and harassment.”

Kenya Smith is the epitome of fuckmookery that Nagin and his idiots have given to the folks of New Orleans via City Hall. Intimidation and harassment? Fuck you asshole. You are spending our money, and you will not provide the details on what and why you spent taxpayer’s money?

This little colored girl believes that you should be burned at the stake for these statements. I will personally preside over the lighting of the brush under your feet. Thou shalt burn merrily.

Whilst we CITIZENS of New Orleans are fighting tooth and nail to rebuild our lives and the life of the city, you fucks are wining and dining without explanations as to what you are doing in our name and with our purses. This is OUR MONEY Mr. Smith. It is to be used for the people of the city and not to fill your gullet or inflated ego.

The people of this great city desire an explanation, and you had better deliver baby.

I was reading some news about the bat-shit lunatics and their antics in the old Lege, and then ran across this poop. My brain started screaming, “But they just passed a measure that would allow Higher Education students to carry guns to school”!

How do these fat-assed rednecks get these kinds of burrs up their butts? What kind of twisted childhood must they have experienced? Are their parents congenital idiots? Why am I even asking these questions… these creatures are from the bulk of the State that we here in the south-east swamps must secede from.

Yes, my fucking head hurts.

I think that when we pass the Act Of Succession for the Isle d’Orleans, we should follow in South Carolina’s mold and do a tactical nuclear strike on Baton Rouge, preferably when the Lege is in session. (Our last gift to the rednecks of Looziana before we split away)
