the Election, and this crazy girl has some thoughts about the future of our fair city and the rest of the Isle d’Orleans.
I hate to sound so dramatic, but what happens tomorrow during the voting will give direction to how the rebuilding will go down. The ruling paradigm for the next few years shall be set in stone: we’ll have to live with it. (And what happens to us will be the harbinger of what happens to the rest of the Gulf Coast.)
Here are my choices for the polls tomorrow:
Mayor: Landrieu
District A: Midura
District B: Head
District C: Booth
At Large: Fielkow
Clerk of Court: Varrecchio
It’s now the electorate’s turn…. get the vote out!
FYI, Booth’s not in the runoff for District C – it’s between James Carter and Kristin Palmer.
