Here is a warning from Naomi Wolf, author of the “Shock Doctrine”, concerning the Bush Administration’s latest moves to possibly take away the freedoms that all Americans should enjoy. It is a scary scenario and is already being played out on small, but important levels.

“I warned that within six months we would see the definition of “terrorist” expanded so that the “terrorists” in the news would soon look like heartland, mainstream Americans. We now hear that mere protesters at the RNC in Minnesota have been charged as terrorists.”
This is not the vision of America I was raised to believe in. It is NOT what the Founders desired. This is a gun pointed at every one of our heads whether we agree or not with the Ruling Elite. We can become prisoners in a 50 State prison. The Constitution will become meaningless and our precious freedoms and rights will be stripped from us.
Instead of being a Free people, we will become serfs.
As Patrick Henry put it, “Give me Liberty, or give me death”. I agree with his statement with every fiber of my Being with him.
Benjamin Franklin said when asked wheteher the Founders had created a Republic or a Monarchy, he responded, “A Republic, if you can keep it”.
We must keep our Republic alive.

I could not agree with you/her more. We’ve already lost sooo many of our freedoms and most Americans are oblivious to the consequences. Decisions were made and approved by a terrified, ill informed group.
Our only hope at this point is Obama/Biden, that’s it. If McCain/Palin win, God help us.
PS: Did you catch Meet The Press this AM? Colin Powell endorsed Obama. Fab.

And thanks to the bush/cheney regime’s complete destruction of the rest of the world’s view/respect of/for our country – I am thinking there would be noone to come to our aid.
