Campaign For Your Cause- City Park

Okay, I know that many of us NOLA Bloggers were voting for Children’s Hospital in the Burger King Campaign For Your Cause, but Children’s didn’t make the cut. After looking over the final choices, I decided that I’m casting my votes for the Friends of City Park. The park needs the $50,000 more than the other candidates and it is more vital for all of us NOLA folks.

Please vote every day here.

  3. I grew up in N.O. and City Park is a great cause but my sister works for Special Olympics Louisiana and they are a great cause too. Special Olympics Louisiana lost most of its funding after the storms and have yet to get it back.

  4. Honey, I do understand your plea. I was born “disabled”, and through my life became disabled on a second front.

I support the Special Olympics, but City Park is for all of us in the city.

The way I see it is that City Park is important for all folks here: the gardens are such a treat for me. Many others feel the same way.

  6. Thanks Darlin’s !

I wish to see this gift come to something all of the people can enjoy, not just a splinter of the entire community.

See ya’s in the Botanical Gardens one day.
