Five days offline, and I almost lost it. Now I’m using cable and this thing flies.
Now I must go and set my primaries with this ISP.
BTW- We passed our final inspection today. We move back into our home next week.

Thanks Darlin’, but this means I have to do do hated tasks- packing and un-packing. Ughhhh…
Actually it will be a good thing, and I don’t have much to pack up. I’ll get to go shopping soon *giggles*. I really need to get some clothes (can actually hang them up now).
I guess I’d better get a job at Burger King or McD’s so I can pay for my clothes and lingerie shopping. Betts is gonna kill me when I hit the stores. I do not have cheap tastes.
I get to go back to Donna Reed mode now. I’m the Femme from Hell. Trust me.

It’s all good! I understand the packing/unpacking…afterall “move” IS a four-letter word!
Last year going thru ‘da move’ was utter hell, the finality of the relationship (ha!) ending, having to reestablish ‘me’ – it seemed so hard at the time, but now, the emotional ugly duckling is a flippin’ swan! (which is why I LOVE the Siouxsie song “into a swan”)
Now that my lease is up, I am facing packing up (and hopefully purging a LOT) and moving back into Houston proper. I applied for a nice apartment in town yesterday that is beautiful and central.
If you and Betts are ever in the Houston area, my door is open!
How did the Trashy Diva dress work for you? I never did swing in there that trip. Oh! My new place will shave a good 45 minutes off of my travel time to New Orleans! Huzzah!
Hugs, Elspeth

Darlin’, I have yet to pick up my dress from Trashy Diva… been way too much to do for the house.
So where in Houston are ya’s moving to? I have family in Bellaire, Sharpstown and Braheswood (sp). Before Rita hit we were going to lease a place in the Montrose, but the bitch storm drove us to SoCal.
I might be in Houston soon. I need some medical work and the VA can’t do it here. Just trying to keep it together so’s to get us and teh kittehs safely home and then I can finally deal with some probs.
And remember that our door is always open for friends.
Blessings! (and have fun moving)

If I get the nod, it will be just on the cusp of the River Oaks/Montrose area! I won’t be moving until later September. The place is choice, older, but lovingly kept up, and nice but not too fussy. My two cats will be LOVING the picture windows. Am about to sketch out the general layout to get a feel for the Feng Shui of the place.
Peace! Elspeth
