Wow! You ARE the next step in evolution. I think there should be a movie or documentary made about you. Seriously, it’s getting better but we need more movies about intersex people and the atrocities that continue to be waged against them. As for the Aspergers, yes, that too is defiantly where the human race is progressing. My whole family has traces here and there and that’s our take on it.

Dennis Rubion did our elevation. Very well done.

Also know (since we spent the last month getting it done) That you need a letter from the city that you had to elevate to meet code. Since FEMA cannot issue the FIRM maps until the Corps is finished with the repairs, the folks at City Hall keep repeating the 1984 data.

Nice post Audry. My family and I have been approved and already begun the elevation process… so far so good. I guess the Louisiana government is finally coming through!

FYI for anyone else looking to raise your home, check out the company “Louisiana Home Elevations” (name says it all).

I have been working with a guy named Chris, they have been extremely helpful and on the ball. I think their website is http://www.louisianahomeelevations.com but if not you can find them in Google.

Let me rephrase. I believe in my lifetime we will see a cure for HIV. Rather than say the “finish line,” what I meant to say was the “winner’s circle.” I will have beaten that son-of-a-bitch disease. I’m 25+ years HIV+, 22 years since I took the test, and I have never taken medication for it. I’m waiting for the cure. So, I’ll see you in the Winner’s Circle when we finally get there.
